Here the garden is putting on another of those last minute flings which the gardener wishes were there much earlier. I didn't plan this combination, it just happened. The aster here is a late blooming one; the
Tinantia has been blooming for weeks but gets better as frost approaches. Some
Crocus speciosus or
Crocus goulimyi would be nice additions, or even some saffron crocuses. Maybe next year...
